It’s time to look to the future! Create the momentum to build your real estate investing future by joining us for Wisconsin Real Estate Investor’s (formerly Wisconsin Apartment Association) “Build Your Future” Conference event.  Recharge and reconnect with our 1.5 day event with education and social opportunities.

New Interactive Sessions
Moderated small group sessions.  Break up into small groups to discuss a topic presented by the moderator then reconvene as a larger group to bring your ideas and thoughts to the whole session.

Friday Night Mixer & Trivia
Join us for food, conversation, and group trivia.  Gather your friends and form a team of up to four people to test your knowledge in pop culture, history, and real estate. Trivia starts at 5pm!

Conference guests are responsible for booking their own lodgings.  Reservations can be made by calling Best Western Premier Waterfront directly at 920-230-1900Room block is now closed!  Rooms are based on availability and at their current room rates.

Breakout session begin Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. followed by a mixer and trivia.  Topics will include Hot Topics in Landlord-Tenant Law by Attorney Kelly J. Schwab, Renter's Insurance 101:  Implementing & Enforcing Compliance by Mitch Doty of Glazd, Overview of Section 8 HQS Inspections by Bergundy Sheppard of the Oshkosh Housing Authority, Current Drug Trends & Concerns in Multi-Family Dwellings by Sgt. Brandon Ansell of the Oshkosh Police Dept., Understanding the Criminal Court Process:  What's Going on Behind CCAP? by Winnebago County District Attorney Eric Sparr, and The Title Process & Common Defects by Leah Eastman & Craig Luedtke of Caliber Title.

Sessions continue Saturday at 9:00 a.m. along with group interactive sessions, legislative update, an update on the WAA/Wisconsin Real Estate Investors (WREI) & Rental Housing Resources, lunch, and additional educational sessions in the afternoon.  Topics will include Property Management Basics by Jeff Pralle of Footstep Management, Mastering Personality Types by Jeremie Wienke of Birch Management, a local leadership roundtable, a Review of Rental Forms by Rick Russell of Wisconsin Legal Blank, & Making Your Case in a DATCP Complaint by Corina Eufinger of Brio Properties.
