Jeremie Wienke (Janesville)

Director of Municipal Affairs (Vice Chair)

For the past 16 years, Jeremie and his family have lived in "some sort of housing" while working a full time job.  Meanwhile, his wife, Jessica, homeschooled their 3 children.  After looking at potential properties for about 3 years, they bought their first single family rental in 2011.  Since that time, Jeremie's rental portfolio has grown to almost 40 units.  Thanks to the income generated by the properties he was able to leave his "day job" behind in 2018! Now, he is able to focus solely on managing and maintaining the properties. Jeremie has been a member of his local apartment association (Janesville Area Rental Property Association, JARPA) since 2016. He says, "I appreciate the helpful eduction, and I really enjoy networking with like-minded individuals.  I believe in the old quote 'It's easier to learn from the mistakes or experiences of others than to repeat that mistake with your own time, money, and agony.' Contact Jeremie if you'd like to start building positive relations in your local municipality.

Chris Mokler (Oshkosh)
Winnebago Apartment Assoc.

Director of Legislative Affairs/Lobbyist

Chris got involved with his family’s business at a very early age and, while in college, worked up to investing in rental property with his father, Mike Mokler, who served WAA for many years. After graduating from UW-Oshkosh, Chris joined his father full time and bought out several other landlords in the Oshkosh area. Chris has been involved with both the Winnebago Apartment Association and the Wisconsin Apartment Association for many years. In 2014 he authored and presented a "Re-Boot" plan for WAA, which was adopted, and he continues to work hard to see that plan into action.

Cinnamon Harley
(Green Bay)

Since then, she now solely operates 35 units in Green Bay and has been “traditional job” free since March 2021. Cinnamon joined the Apartment Association of Northeast WI (Green Bay) in 2015. She served as a Board member from 2020 to 2022 and was elected as their Vice President in 2022. Besides working on her rental housing business, she also tours the countryside on her motorcycle. “The education one gets is excellent and the networking and connections are priceless” from your local chapters and WAA. “Don’t be surprised if I show up as your guest- it’s an excuse to go for a ride.” Wink Wink
